Draped Back Tunic: Kisslocke
String Bra: Cotton On
Shorts: Cotton On
Thigh High Socks: Forever21
Belt: Imported

Finally checked out H&M a couple weeks back. I went 2 weeks after the grand opening and people were STILL queueing to enter the shop. Best example of effective marketing and hype, ever.

Soooo, the prices there are very affordable! I’m talking basic long tanks (the sort you’d find at Topshop – same material, I can vouch) going for $12.90, knitted sweaters (great for the season) within the range of $24.90 to $90-ish and leather skirts going for as low as $39.90. MY KIND OF HEAVEN.

I would say that H&M’s product line is a vague mix of Topshop and Forever21’s offerings. They have racks of quality basic pieces and statement looks (think leather, silkscreen printed tanks, sheer gunmetal materials) that channel the Topshop vibe, and also floaty ethereal floral dresses, frocks and cheap-ass accessories a la Forever21. Eh, seriously. The accessories are practically free.

A bunch of bangles like that costs approximately $7, if I recall correctly.

Vic and I spent 2 hours shopping in fabric heaven (also known as H&M) while poor Haikal waited for us over at Ion with our dinner getting progressively colder and staler. :] And check out his freaky bendy fingers. I suspect he might be one of those amazing people that magicians seem to enjoy stuffing into boxes..

Good times.
